TMT is very excited to be hosting 3 triathlon sessions this weekend, including the first of Triathlon Ontario’s Free Beginner Clinics.

Triathlon Ontario Beginner Clinic

Date – Sunday May 31st
Meet Location – Pittock Park Conservation Area. See MAP DIRECTIONS
Meet Up Time – 9:15AM
Duration – 75 minutes
Cost – FREECoach Pickering of TMT will be leading the intro to triathlon clinic and will cover the basics on how to get through your first triathlon. Come on out, learn some tips and ask some questions. It idea is fun and stress free learning.

Suggested items to bring

  1. Swim stuff (goggles, bathing suit, wetsuit, towel)
  2. Run Stuff (shoes, shorts, hat, socks)
  3. Other (sun screen, nutrition snacks, water, recovery snacks, towel)

TMT – Group Training Session 1

TMT is also hosting 2 group training days over the course of this weekend. These are separate from the above mentioned Beginner Triathlon Ontario Clinic.Session 1  takes place in Delaware. The focus will be for athletes training for Sprint, Olympic and or Half Iron distance triathlons/duathlons. Details listed below

Date – Saturday May 30th
Meet Location – Delaware – Sharon Creek Conservation area- See MAP DIRECTIONS
Meet Up Time – 8:30AM
Cost: $40 for 1, $50 for 2, $60 for 3…so bring a friend or two and save.
*if doing group training sessions 1 & 2, session 2 will be reduced by 50%.

Details
If you are training for a sprint, olympic, or half iron tri, come on out and join us.
Starting off with a swim clinic followed by bike and run training sessions. Ask questions, learn tips, meet new folks and enjoy yourselves.

Swim 9AM- 10AM (or run) – 1hr (includes chat, technique overview, tips) *if you are not comfortable swimming, feel free to join us at 10am for the bike or do a duathlon with a warm up run.

Bike 10am – 12pm  There are some beautiful roads for riding out in the Delaware region. We will find some hills, practice some important skills & talk nutrition for longer rides.

Run – Off the bike run. You can run anywhere from 10 minutes to 1 hour. It will be hot at this time so pack accordingly.

What to bring

  2. Bike stuff (bike, shoes, helmet, shorts, shades, 2-3 bottles, gels etc)
  3. Run Stuff (shoes, shorts, hat, socks)

TMT – Group Training Session 2

Session 2 takes place in Woodstock. Focus will be for first time racers and beginners.

Date – Sunday May 31st

Meet Up Time – 11:00AM
Cost: $40 for 1, $50 for 2, $60 for 3…so bring a friend or two and save.

Taking place shortly after the FREE Triathlon Ontario Clinic, join us for an overview of the Woodstock Give-It-A-Tri race course. We will go through the race from top to bottom including additional tips like how to change a flat, what to eat when etc etc. We will also actually go through the race course.
