CHRIS PICKERING
Chris is an NCCP trained triathlon coach and a Can-Fit-Pro personal training specialist. He graduated with a BSc in computer sciences from the University Of Western Ontario. He worked as a software developer for St. Joseph’s Health Care London for 6 years, coaching triathletes during his spare time. In 2011, he launched his own business, Transition Myself Training, where he is now working full-time as a coach and personal trainer.

7th overall - Rosario Half IM (Argentina 2011)
Since his debut in 2005, triathlon has morphed from his hobby into his lifestyle. Some notable achievements include:Growing up, he competed in as many sports as he could fit in. To name a few; skiing, rugby, hockey, football, cross-country running, golf, tennis, karate, baseball, and more. These and others have all added to his appreciation of a healthy and active lifestyle. In University he wrestled with the Western University varsity team, until tearing his ACL and having to undergo knee surgery. After rehabilitation, he bought his first mountain bike, participated in his first triathlon and was instantly hooked with the sport.
- 5 Iron distance triathlons completed (Brazil, South Korea, Lake Placid, Uruguay)
- 3rd place overall finish – IronPunta (2011)
- IM 70.3 World Championships qualifier (2011)
- Age group winner of the Asian Long Course Championships (South Korea 2009)
- 1st place Male 25-29 Iron Distance Jeju (2009)
- 2nd place Male 25-29 IronPunta (2010)
- 2 time M25-29 Multisport Canada Triathlon Series champion (2007 & 2010)
